Log HIves

Why log hives

Log hives support nest integrity and mimic natural nest parameters of honeybees. Contemporary entomological research documents the extraordinary resiliency and levels of health present in wild populations of honeybees in wild hives and in undisturbed ecosystems. We integrate these research data into a holistic and bee-centric conservation strategy and base our rewilding programs on log hives.

Building log hives

We build log hives as part of all our rewilding programs and teach how to build log hives to the public. Check out our events calendar for upcoming workshops.

We make a schematic of our most current vertical log hive design available as an open resource and reference for anyone interested in supporting rewilding bees.
